Introduction

The conservation of natural lands and of working farms and forests can generate financial returns, both to governments and individuals, and create significant cost savings as well. Nueva Ecija shared the largest number of farms in Central Luzon or Region III with a total of 119.1 thousand farms which utilized 196.4 thousand hectares of land for agriculture, also the biggest among the provinces. Farms feed us and provide a host of other public benefits. However, every day, the amount of fertile farmland diminishes as development spreads. This guide describes the importance of preserving productive agricultural lands.

What are the goals of Conservare Arvum?

Our goal is to reduce unwanted infractures on our farmlands. To provide technical assistance to Filipino farmers through proper soil resource management in order to maintain soil productivity and farm profitability, thereby boosting the rural economy, improving the global competitiveness of local produce, and improving the quality of our soil and water. Our page is our first step to protect farms and farmers. Project  This also serve as a platform to educate our fellow citizens. We’ll use our Facebook page and website to spread awareness and understanding as to why we should stop or avoid building infrastructures on our farmers  land. Since they have no power, we also want to be their voice and help them to be more aware.

Our Objectives:

  • Spread awareness, and knowledge about our farms, the cause, and effect of infractures on our environment by the use of this website, FB page, and so on.

  • Use the unused farms around region III to be profitable, and help those farmers that became unemployed.

  • Provide these farms with proper soils, seeds, and so on.

  • Sell the harvested fresh fruits, vegetables, rice, etc. To local markets, supply urban, and other markets in cities.
